- Michigan Shootings: Six people were killed in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, in a string of shootings Saturday night. The shootings took place in three separate locations and left two people critically injured, including a 14-year-old girl. The suspected shooter is currently in custody.
- The Presidential Race: Donald Trump won the South Carolina Republican Primary with 32.5% of the vote. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton won the Nevada Caucus with 52.7% of the vote. Next weekend is the Republican Nevada Caucus and the Democratic South Carolina Primary. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are favored to win those battles.
- Apple Privacy Fight: The FBI wants Apple to create a “backdoor” to the iPhone so they can gain access to suspected terrorist phones. Apple has so far refused, but is facing a court order to build a “backdoor” into the phone.
- To Kill a Mockingbird author, Harper Lee, passed away on Friday at the age of 89.
