- Beyoncé released her visual album this weekend on Saturday, April 23rd, titled “Lemonade.” She revealed, “’Lemonade’ was an ode to black women, and a deeply personal story at the same time. Beyoncé shared home movies of her father, her wedding to rapper Jay Z, her pregnancy and daughter Blue Ivy’s birthday party.”
- The late Prince Rogers Nelson, the multi-platinum selling musical star passed April 21. He was last seen alive at 8pm in Chanhassen, Minnesota. A staff member found Prince unresponsive in an elevator and called 911. The cause of death is still unknown.
- The Islanders were losing 1-0 with less than a minute to go when John Tavares scored the game-tying goal. They were victorious when Tavares scored again in double overtime-bringing The Islanders one step closer to winning the Stanley Cup.
- The Presidential Race: Clinton is still in the lead for The Democratic Party, followed by Sanders. The Republican Party is still being dominated by Trump, with Cruz trailing close behind.
