- The Presidential Race: Four states held primaries/caucuses over the weekend. For the Republicans, Ted Cruz won Maine and Kansas, Donald Trump won Louisiana and Kentucky and continues to maintain his lead in the Republican race. For the Democrats, Bernie Sanders won Kansas, Kentucky and Maine, Hillary Clinton won Louisiana. Hillary Clinton continues to lead the Democratic race overall having secured the most delegates at this point.
- Denver Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning retired after 18 seasons in the NFL. Manning won two Super Bowls with two difference team, Denver and Indianapolis.
- Former First Lady Nancy Reagan died at the age of 94.
- ISIS: Yesterday, a suicide bomber detonated a fuel truck loaded with explosives in bumper-to-bumper traffic in Baghdad, killing 60 and injuring another 70.
